Build Games That People Actually Want to Play

We teach real game development skills through hands-on projects. No fluff, no unrealistic promises — just the programming knowledge you need to create engaging social casino games.

What Makes Our Approach Different

Real Projects, Real Skills

You'll build actual games from day one. Not toy examples or academic exercises — we're talking about casino-style games with proper mechanics, animations, and player engagement systems.

By the end of your first month, you'll have created three working prototypes that demonstrate core game development concepts.

Code That Actually Works

We focus on JavaScript, HTML5 Canvas, and modern web technologies because that's what the industry uses. You'll learn performance optimization, mobile compatibility, and how to debug complex game logic.

Our students often tell us they appreciate learning why certain approaches work better than others — it's not just about following tutorials.

Industry-Relevant Curriculum

Our courses are designed around what actual game development studios need. We cover random number generation, game balance, user interface design, and the mathematics behind engaging gameplay.

The October 2025 cohort will focus heavily on mobile-first development and progressive web app techniques.

Six-Month Intensive Program

Our flagship course runs from September 2025 through March 2026 and covers everything from basic game mechanics to advanced animation techniques.

You'll work on progressively complex projects: starting with simple slot machine logic, moving to multi-level progression systems, and finishing with a complete social casino game that includes user accounts and achievement systems.

The program includes weekly code reviews, pair programming sessions, and regular project presentations where you'll get feedback from both instructors and peers.

Kaleigh Brennan, Lead Game Development Instructor

Meet Kaleigh Brennan

Kaleigh spent eight years developing mobile games at various studios before joining our team. She's particularly good at explaining complex programming concepts in ways that actually make sense.

Her background includes work on games that reached millions of players, and she brings that real-world experience into every lesson. Students appreciate her direct feedback and practical approach to problem-solving.

"I've seen too many courses that teach outdated techniques," Kaleigh says. "We focus on current industry practices and the kind of code that actually ships in production games."

Technology Stack You'll Master

We teach the tools that modern game studios actually use. JavaScript remains the foundation, but you'll also dive into Canvas API for graphics, Web Audio API for sound effects, and CSS animations for smooth user interfaces.

The curriculum includes version control with Git, debugging techniques, and performance profiling — skills that separate professional developers from hobbyists.

Our January 2026 winter intensive will add WebGL fundamentals and shader programming for students who want to push graphics capabilities further.

Real Student Success Stories

Demetrius Volkman completed our program last year and now works as a junior developer at a gaming startup. He says the hands-on project approach gave him confidence to tackle complex programming challenges.

"The instructors don't just show you how to copy code," Demetrius explains. "They help you understand why certain design patterns work better for games than others."

Another graduate, Esperanza Whittaker, launched her own indie game studio after completing both our core program and the advanced winter intensive.

Ready to Start Learning?

Our next cohort begins in September 2025. We keep class sizes small to ensure everyone gets individual attention and meaningful feedback on their projects.

No previous game development experience required — just curiosity and willingness to write a lot of code. We'll handle the rest.
